Today was our follow up with the otorhinolaryngologist who did the surgery repairing Annabel's ear drum. First was a hearing test which showed normal hearing in her ear!
Then the doctor said that everything had healed and looked good and we did not have to come back unless there was a problem!
Thank you LORD!!
I knew it was better because she speaks more in a conversational tone all the time. I am so thankful that this was easy to fix and brought back such an important thing as hearing.
While being at the doctor, she missed some classes.
A friend told her that she had to complete a worksheet from science.
The worksheet was on electromagnetic fields!
It seems like the one daughter who has a pretty firm grasp of English could explain it, but she wasn't even sure.
So this afternoon Dad tried to replicate the experiment on the worksheet to be able to answer the questions.
Annabel didn't bring it up to me until 8:50!! Right as I was trying to talk to mom.
So I had Mom's version, Annabel's version, Dad's version, and Grace's version.
Finally it was determined that her friend Carl (Coral) told her to do the worksheet.
Coral's word seemed to carry a lot of weight, but I think there was an error there somewhere.
I wrote the teacher a note and explained the situation. If she is supposed to do the assignment, then more later!
